About 1885, the family moved from Delft to Arnhem. In the period 1897-1904 the family first lived at 12, Walburgsplein in Arnhem. Later they moved to 28, Beekstraat. On the first picture you see the Beekstreet in 1890. |

The next picture (unknown date) is deeper in the street. In the centre, vaguely, the Church of Walburgis. (In front there was Walburgsplein, destroyed during the Battle of Arnhem). |
